Allen is an Associate Professor in the School of Education and Technology at Royal Roads University. She was previously an Educational Facilitator of Indigenous-specific racism and settler colonialism for public sector workers. Her interdisciplinary teaching and research expertise is in antiracist and anticolonial pedagogies and methodologies, settler colonial socialization and public sector work, the subject-making and complicities of white settler women, and social justice and antiracist leadership.
