Nisha Nath (she/they) is an Associate Professor of Equity Studies at Athabasca University, who is based in Amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton). Her work critically engages citizenship, focusing on the intersections of race, security, and white settler colonialism. She collaborates on the Insurgent and Resurgent Knowledges Lab and ‘The Letters’ book project (Drs. Davina Bhandar, Anita Girvan and Rita Dhamoon) and is engaged in research on discretion and the settler colonial socialization of public sector workers with Dr. Willow Samara Allen.
